Our visit to the Gurdwara

In RE this week we have been learning about Sikhism.

We had a lovely visit to the Gurdwara this morning.  It was an amazing building!  Can you spot the Sikhism symbol on the wall?

We had to wash our hands and take off our shoes.  then we went into the Prayer Room.  After that, we we given some lovely food from the very kind people at the Gurdwara.  We also learned all about the 5Ks.

Then we walked up lots of stairs to the roof.  It was amazing! The view from the roof was spectacular.  Up on the roof there was another Prayer Room.  We couldn't believe how pretty the roof was.
